TaigaStar
More! Deeper!
First and foremost: to the mods, I feel this should be a separate topic because it will deal with non X-Men movie ideas. Since there are so many Jean fans, I thought this would be a good time to give her a separate thread. With her appearance as Phoenix in X3, a lot of conjecture has been made about how she will be.
Sorry if there's another thread somewhere about her, by the way. Also, this may contain a lot of spoilers for the newer Marvel storylines, so please beware!
Personally, I think the Phoenix itself should have been treated as a secondary mutation for Jean. When they wrote New X-Men, they changed around character appearances and powers, explaining it to be "secondary mutation." After a while, the Phoenix returns to Jean. At this point in time, shouldn't they just admit that the Phoenix Force and Jean Grey are ultimately the same entity? There's one special where someone tells her she is the Phoenix and the "immortals" or whoever are concerned about this.
Looking back on the history of Jean Grey, she's called out for help and the Phoenix answered. When the Phoenix committed suicide, it sent the memory of its time as Jean to her and upon rejection, to Jean's clone. She's manifested some bizarre tricks with her powers, and all she can say is that she is Phoenix. In the most recent storyline, the Phoenix Force resurrects her corpse! But in New X-Men, she died and is reborn in the future as Phoenix. How does this work out? Your thoughts?

But Emma is doing her thing.
