Jean Grey- The Phoenix

Maybe they realized this was a Phoenix who they don't have any lifelines with - - no 'but I love you honey' to stop her from erasing existence. Or the Civil War.

And maybe Emma's peeved that the Cuckoos could control the Raptor and not her...

Alternative Phoenix? My Christimas list includes: Iceman, Wolverine, Spider-man and Colossus, that is right, totally wicked male-phoenix that cannot be :gogirl:

pleeeeeeeeeeease do at least one

I really really really like the Runaways and the Young Avaengers, but are they going to continue YA's and Runaways together for that storyline? Or is it going to be like with the Reavers and Ultimate Spiderman and Ultimate X-Men where it's portrayed in both?

Still, Emma looks too confident in that pic. Smug, not angry and frightened is out of her character. Emma would be angry at an incredible emotionless Phoenix entity if anything.

Love the pic. It's still good, despite the proportions. You have an eye. Were they actually in Out! ? What issue?

Don't even get me started with the massive amounts of problems with Warsong, and no one wanted it to not suck more than me.

I am always an Emma fan, but I do love Jean, too. However, given her near omnipotent abilities, I think it's good for her to be out of the Marvel Universe for a while. I'd love to see her come back, but only when things can be reworked so that her return is seriously important and she as a character has a new path to walk. Like we all know that Scott and Emma are going to be together (and are better off that way) and I think it's up to writers to create a good place for Jean. She needs to be able to try somethign with Logan like she's always wanted to, plus, she needs to fit a role where her omnipotent powers won't always end up saving the day like some deus ex machina. Maybe she won't be on missions that deal with things much below her level.

But I think she needs time to be away. Finding her pieces wasn't so much for Jean and the Phoenix as I feel it was for the writers at Marvel.
