Although I will say congrats nonetheless. Her acceptance speech was heartfelt at least. Plus, Beyonce looked PISSED OFF which was even funnier.

this is so stupid! she was good in dreamgirls but not good as those two actresses from babel! they only gave her because she is a singer, because she is young, and because she is black.

I was at at an Oscar viewing party and all of a sudden it got really quiet when George was opening the envelope and we screamed our lungs out when he called Jennifer's name! I'm so proud of her yay! Academy Award winner Jennifer Hudson!

I LOVED the Dreamgirls performance, or as we all like to call it: Beyonce trying to outsing Jennifer LOL (she couldn't even out-sing Anika!)

We all also laughed out loud when Beyonce was on the right during the trio singing then all of a sudden she ended up right in the middle at the end LOL!
"Dad, I want to end up in the middle okay????"

Considering the fact that she's only the THIRD black actress to win in that category in the almost 80 years that the Oscars have been around, your theory makes perfect sense.

Actually she didn't. She smiled the whole time. If you choose to make things up in your mind, I'll gladly post a video of Jennifer winning from the broadcast.

I really like this year's Oscar's. Less Biased in my opinion. I haven't seen Dreamgirls yet, Jennifer must have been really really good to beat those other actresses, especially the ones from Babel (Rinko and Adriana).
 
I don't think Beyonce looked pissed at all. She looked genuinely happy for her. Her FATHER however...LMFAO. His face was priceless.

and they said she GAINED weight for her role in dreamgirls? i don't think so. she would be morbidly obese if she had any more weight on her than that.
 
i think she is going to find it very difficult to get any roles that will not see her typecast. She will probably disappear into oblivion like so many others before her.

I know she was on American Idol, but has she actually EVER released anything? I think she would be better off focusing on a career as a singer if she hasn't pursued that already.
