I've never watched his show but I've seen enough promos to know that it's not something I would want to watch.

It makes no sense to me whatsoever to see those people getting away with pounding the shit out of each other on stage when they'd be arrested if they did the same thing on the streets in front of the studio.

Do they really get away with 'assault' because it's considered 'entertainment'? I mean, even hockey players are being charged these days for on-ice fighting.

Why does Springer get away with it? How do they justify it?

Didn't MTV have a TV Show about an intern at the Jerry Springer show?

You got to see behind the scenes with the producers and how much of the show is staged and coached.

I can't believe anyone actually cares if these people beat the snot out of each other. Whether or not it's real, I don't know. I haven't watched it for years. But let's say it is. Who cares? It's not like they don't know the place is a zoo before they go on there.

Jerry Springer is excellent for cheap entertainment. I can understand how the show got so popular.

It's perfect brain junk food @ 2 a.m.

They most likely sign consent forms saying that they agree to any violence or injury caused to you.

The show is, as are many talk shows are, completely staged. It is 100% entertainment. Nothing more. It is no more "real" than pro wrestling. As a matter of fact, I know people who have even gone on the show, who also worked in wrestling at some points.

I have a friend actually, who even went on the show once and told me that the show is completely staged.

For people who like to watch some crazy characters, simply watch the show and look at it as "Entertainment" as opposed to actually watching some real talk show.

What was the show called? I can't remember.
