The team of Glenn Ficarra and John Requa have just landed Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor for the lead in their directorial debut. The duo is responsible for writing "Bad Santa". According to Variety, their new film will be entitled "I Love You Phillip Morris".

The film is an adaptation of Houston Crime Reporter Steve McViker's fact based book. The movie is a true story of Steven Russell (Carrey), a married father whose exploits landed him in the Texas criminal justice system. He fell madly in love with his cellmate (Ewan McGregor), who eventually was set free, which led Russell to escape from Texas prisons four times.

Here's the poster shown at Cannes....
(Did I just hear the word "Controversy"?)

Hmm, yeah... people are going to take that title completely wrong...

There's a pic of him and Rodrigo Santorio on set of the film-- looking super homolicious!

I'm interested in seeing the movie also.

Entertainment Weekly had a pic of Jim Carrey and Rodrigo Santorio in their most recent issue in a scene from the movie, and these two looked absolutely amazing.

This isn't a shock to me about Carrey, whose been constantly challenging himself for years - which i applaud him for.
I too, can't wait to see a trailer... a gay movie i'd actually WANT to see in the theatres! Oh my, Hollywierd is finally doing something... right.
I agree!
I can't wait to see the trailer, and then the movie!

Bring it on! ..|

Jim Carrey is still a great looking guy--some of his films are a bit hit and miss though--Im looking forward to watching this one!
