I think Fallon would be a good choice for late night I always saw him as a late night host. I wouldn't mind seeing Darrell Hammond host that show he would be good. And they said Leno might move to abc i still think he could Beat Letterman and O'Brien. I thought It was Leno idea for O'Brien to take his show?

we know how quiet Jay is hes probably signing a deal with abc as we speak! i wonder would Kevin go with him

See what I'm reading here is that I'll be watching Craig Fergusen...

Fallon was the worst thing about SNL for years. He ruined every skitch he was in with his inability to keep a straight face. I don't know I can't really see him interviewing someone seriously. But maybe I'm wrong. I love Jimmy Kimmel personally, I just wish he wasn't on at such an awkward time. He's a half hour off the other shows correct?

Yes and some days he comes on different times and stuff

No thanks...I will pass on Jimmy Fallon. Never really found him interesting.

:( I like Leno, I want him to stay.
It seems a lot of people agree with you.

There are rumors that NBC is torn about their 2009 Leno-Conan succession deal. It seems that Leno is still extremely popular and profitable, so NBC doesn't know if they want to let him go. Word is that NBC may possibly buy out Conan's contract and let him go to another network, thereby keeping Leno and finding a replacement for Late Night. Jon Stewart's Comedy Central deal is up in 2009, so his name is also being thrown in the mix as a Late Night replacement.

ETA: I just noticed that the article does brush on that possibility as well

I think he could work. But, as others have said, he would have to take it seriously. I'm surprised that he and Lorne Michaels were the only people that didn't realize that his breaking character so often was only funny to him. To paraphrase Family Guy, he's no Carol Burnette.

I have heard the rumors about John Stewart as well, but what happens to the Daily Show?(Who can filll his shoes?)....And as far as letting Conan go....he owns his time slot....the competition is nowhere close...in comparison, Leno and Letterman's ratings are always close with Leno almost always winning....if I were NBS I would rethink buying out that contract.

Well, they're not letting Conan O'Brien go...he's just going to be hosting The Tonight Show. He'll still be working for NBC.

The time of night is just as important as the host. As is the competition. So you can't really compare Leno and O'Brein's ratings.
