Jlo - Actress or Singer?

"If You Had My Love" is a classic! And she had some other killer songs in 1999-2001. like "I'm Gonna Be Alright", "I'm Real (Remix)" "Waiting For Tonight", and "Ain't It Funny".

but after "Jenny From The Block" her singing became a joke.

Actually, I was wrong about something. Jennifer Lopez, Celine Dion and Kylie Minogue signed with Coty, but Britney Spears signed with Elizabeth Arden. In mid 1996, Britney Spears and Elizabeth Arden celebrated 10 million bottles from Britney’s perfume line being sold (source: http://www.prnewswire.co.uk/cgi/news/release?id=170237). It’s about $50-$55 per bottle (I don’t wear perfume, I just checked the prices online) and so multiply $50 by 10 million, it looks like they made at least $500 million in sales. Based on what was said on some articles, the perfume lines of Jennifer Lopez and Celine Dion each had racked up about $500 million in sales, so it looks like at least $500 million is the expectation when a perfume company does business with a female pop superstar. Kylie Minogue just signed with Coty less than a year ago, so it's too early to tell how well her line will do, but I think it'll be very successful. Like I said, the perfume company gets most of the earnings. It says in an article dated back a few years ago that in working with Elizabeth Arden, Britney Spears is expected to earn at least $10 million on upwards to $30 million from the sales of her perfume (source: http://www.britneyspears.com/news-item.php?item=040312) and that's comparable to the female pop superstars who work with Coty.
