Well, there may be no record of one for her. But I sense that there is no record of many stars who had abortions. Not to say that I know for certain that MM had an abortion. But it is said that was a big part of her problem as a wife trying to have a baby. They say it was the tragedy of her life (not being able to become a mother). And her miscarriages had some mystery to them (as to what they were all about or what may have caused them).

^ yea i know she had trouble carrying during pregnancy but i doubt it was due to shady abortions.. there could've been all sorts of medical problems that might've caused this. i know that hollywood back then was like shady in those parts but i really dont think marilyn was one to sleep around as weird as that may sound. you know she was afraid of sex when she was first married?

but anyways, lets not get off topic. i was just making a point -- wasnt trying to like hi-jack your thread. i dont know much about joan crawford but i dunno... maybe she had secret abortions, maybe not?

I would hope for Marilyn's sake that she didn't have abortions. I mean, that stuff fucks people up and she was already one not emotionally prepared for further mental fucking.

However, it seems that a lot of men fucked her - or claim to have fucked her. Again, without the videotape...

I like MM. I only think that there were major secrets surrounding her so-called personal life. She may have enjoyed sex. But as you say, how tragic it is when one is built for sex and desired for sex and sought ought by the world for sex...but isn't really all that into sex for herself really.

As for Joan Crawford, I just think its strange for anyone to be so abusive with a wire clothes hanger and for the reasons Crawford supposed screamed about. That particular "instrument" is just too controversial not to think it may have represented something else to her (IF Christina's stories are even true, that is). I think to freak over wire hangers in such a belligerent way requires something more than just a childhood in a laundry mat.
