Neil, she has an enormous sense of humor about herself and how she's perceived - I assume she's laughing harder than any of us. Knock her all ya want, and there's loads who do, she loves to laugh and to make us laugh. Still works fo me......

I just commented to my bf the other night that it was a shame that some celebrities ends up on these commercials. Think about it, we know Joan Rivers, Little Richard and Peter Frampton. Kids today will have no clue who they are other than "those are the people on Geico!"

I guess she was shown the door shortly afterward.

I used to like Joan, but I lost respect for her when she voluntarily fucked up her face. And she really hasn't been her old self ever since. Definitely not the celeb she used to be, which I guess is why she had to start making a living on home shopping network.

I agree with your sentiment.

I like the comment by someone once who said she dated foetuses.

As for Loose Women its a talk over show. They talk over one another, which is annoying as they end up shouting a point.

Joan can probably use the publicity. I've always thought she was funny. She got a bad deal when Johnny Carson banned her from the Tonight Show and her husband committed suicide. She had to make the most of whatever career she could excel in.

And yeah, she was asked to leave during a commercial break... Poor Joan haha

I'm sure she's been thrown out of better places than that. What I want to know is why they would not have told her that there is no time delay or bleeping. Surely they knew who she was when they hired her.

But the thing that amazes me most is how life-like she was. :p
