Ms Rivers is the original "Comeback Kid". Her whole life has been a series of highs and lows.
Everyone has a different concept of humor and which comedians they find to be funny. Joan has always had an acerbic quality. If you don't like it, don't watch her or listen to her. It's just that simple.

Loose Women is a legendary show. I love it. And I love Joan. I just saw her on The Graham Norton Show and she is so unbelievably funny. I wanna be her friend.

in the early days of HIV when they were still calling it "GRID" (aka Gay related immuno deficiency), Joan Rivers was THE FIRST major celebrity to give her name to benefits and charities. It would be her and two no-name drag queens on stage trying to raise a little cash to help our community.

She did that not to help her career like Liz, Elton and Sharon but to help US.


Give her some respect.

She deserves it. She's earned it.

Something we totally argee on...go figure. Now I expect to see a flock of pigs fly past my window.

About Joan's face: I think she looks much better of late. In the past she looked like she was wearing a Kabuki mask. She is much less freakish now - Just not as good as the work Raquel Welsh has had done... Raquel Welsh actually still looks hot. (for a MILF)

I think technically, Ms. Welsh has graduated from MILF to 'GILF'. :lol:

And yes, I love Joan, too.

I saw her last year 'in concert' and she did just shy of a TWO hour set, not pausing for so much as a drink of water. An impressive feat for someone half her age.

The way todays youth culture is and how things are advancing, the watershed is completely pointless nowadays anyway. There's nothing on there kids haven't seen or heard somewhere else.

Although, this morning I was watching Sex and the City and it was an episode where Samantha had a threesome and my little brother came in the room and I didn't realise and I saw him and turned it off and he said "Is that yucky?"

No, it was not scripted and I though Melissa was much more "ballistic" than Joan...Melissa went ape shit crazy. Great TV.

I think it was genuine. These type of shows always have plenty of cameras onhand. Besides, Joan had consistently been threatening to leave with her daughter throughout Celebrity Apprentice, if she felt that Melissa ever got thrown in front of the bus. Too bad. Joan was actually playing fairly respectably. But this was bad sportsmanship. She and Melissa should never have agreed to do the show if they couldn't handle the pressure.

I think the producers and director 'anticipate' reactions and set up the cameras accordingly.

They suspected how Joan would react and a number of cameramen were assigned to Joan and to keep her within their viewfinder.
