The Atlanta Braves Outfielder has said that he wears them because he a 'bad bitch'.

Whatever the reason, it really is one of the cuter things this season in MLB.

He knows that pearls are the perfect accessory...you can dress them up or dress them down. Always appropriate for any occasion.

Of course he also might be poking a bit of fun at the statement necklaces on some of the other players.

What do you think? Would you wear a strand?

No, I wouldn't wear pearls unless they became fashionable on men, but I did sometimes wear a chain when they were fashionable.

Apparently, the piece retails for about $4000 US, so probably cultured.

Actually they’re quite the ‘in’ fashion right now. All the male celebrities have been sporting them lately.

I love Joc Pederson. And his jewelry. But then, there are lots of baseball players I love.

I watched a lot of major league baseball last season, but missed the Braves somehow. I have been to their new ballpark, which is nice but artificial way out in Cobb County, but that was 2019. In 2021 I saw games in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Chicago (White Sox).

They remind me of my grandmother.

My grandmother was very smart though...I could get behind this.

Today I took a string of pearls that belonged to my mother and put them around my black turtleneck sweater and thought

'mmmm hmmmm'

rockin' it.

but no place to show them off.

It probably is time to give them to my niece.

I love to see pearls on woman, but I'm not sure I would wear them, even if they became the latest male fashion craze. I do however, freely wear diamond and gemstone rings.
