So I got the bad case of Jock Itch I looked it up and it looks like it I have a rash on my testicals and in my inner thigh which isflakly, burning, itchy, Ialso got diabetis and people with diabetis gets JI more often. But, is there any other way to get rid of this burning feeling and one side of my testical sometimes leaves my ballsac. but, it's there I have to put it back in. Anyhelp would be greatfull.

Sorry to hear of your problem.

I have been wearing jockstraps since days of junior high school never once suffered from jock itch.

You can begin with an over the counter antifungal. Tinactin is a brand that should be available in your local drug store.

If you're not using cotton underwear, switch. You need to keep the area as dry as possible.

If the Tinactin doesn't clear it up, see your doctor for a prescription strength antifungal.

I find Zeasorb-AF powder after showering to be helpful.

There are a number of antifungal creams specifically for JI now available over the counter. NeoSporin puts out a very good one. If you apply it as directed, it should clear up in about a week or so. If it does not, see your doctor. If you think it may be diabetes related you should see your doctor anyway. Gold Bond medicated powder is also good for keeping those areas dry.

I get jock itch when I wear boxers or boxer briefs. I have no problem wearing regular briefs. If you are not wearing those, you might try them. The leg bands fit up between your balls and legs and wick out the moisture.

There's this really cheap powder or cream called Derman that work mighty well for this. It's only 3-4 bucks a pop and has the same active ingredient as Lotrimin (chlotrimazole) and works for both, AI and JI. It is after all the same fungi just in different spots. It's cheap because its a product manufactured in Mexico but it contains NOTHING fungi can thrive on.

As noted, after showering dry them well and put the cream or powder of your choosing on. For JI I've found powders work for me the best as they also absorbs some of the moisture left when applying them. If its too bad, maybe a week won't do, so don't be discouraged. If after 2 weeks you still see no improvement, you should by all means see your doctor about it.
