I got the chance to direct John's solo movie which got released this week on Jake Cruise

He's a really sweet guy, funny, very smart and great to work with.

And not just because he's a hot muscle guy with a big huge dick. I'm really proud of these pictures I was able to take of him. We shot it outside and in direct sun light. His skin tone looked amazing in the late day orange glow.

Question - why do so many porn stars have to take on a different stage name once they do work for another studio?

Is this usually the studios decision or the model? I always thought that was kind of interesting.

Which studios do you think generate the most money or are most popular?

Funny you should ask for that.... it's been suggested. There's a wrestling movie that we're making that features all three but it's looking like it's going to be just three duo scenes... we'll see.. they all live in different cities and they both have pretty busy schedules so trying to get all three together at once can be kinda rough.

Tristan has also asked that we stop getting him to bottom for guys with rolling pin dicks.

This question always kinda confuses me. It's like the people who still refer to Jason Alexander as "George."

Sean Cody Fratmen, Corbin Fisher... any of those sites that deal with exclusive, new-comer models only... they don't have "porn stars" on their sites, they create characters. Those back stories they make up, the things they say about themselves... it's all part of the character. "Joey" is a character invented and owned by Sean Cody Not the model, not another studio.

One of the things I used to do at the last studio I worked for was to come up with creative, believable and hot backstories... "He's a Lacrosse Player from an Ivy League school in Connecticut" was probably for a guy who went to a community college in Portland studying to be a mechanic. I think a lot of people will remember last year when the two wrestlers from Nebraska posed for Fratmen but the story I had come up with was that they were baseball players from New Jersey. (they were also both named for Canadian pop stars from the 70s, Nash The Slash and Cal Dodd).

The one thing you can be assured of is that if they say they're from one place... they're from another... if they say they take one thing in college, it's probably the one thing they'd never take.

John Magnum, once his contract was up with Sean, was able to become his own boss... he now works for other studios and does what he wants. But he can't use the name "Joey" because he doesn't own that character.

As far as which studio makes the most money and who's the most popular... depends on who I'm working for that year.

I knew the backstories were fabricated but I didn't know it was all completely made up. So I guess that means the ages they give and everything is a lie as well. That's kind of disappointing but not that surprising either but I noticed they described him as bi and it seems like he really is.


I think John Magnum would be the best bottom for Bo Dean if they did a scene together. He has a great body but something about his face is off when he smiles. Not sure how to describe it, but I think him bottoming for Bo would be worth watching.

No, like I said, I knew a majority of it was made up but I thought certain things had a higher chance of truth, like age, stats, sexual orientation, etc.

Age is the most likely to be the same as the guy playing the character. Sexual Orientation is a close second. Stats.. if you mean height and weight... those are usually close.

Past that... nope. Tailored to the character they're playing. Often studios will decide what kind of character they need ("we need a bad boy with tattoos" or "We need a Young Republican" or "We need a prep school boy") and then the model is found who fits the look and the minor details like height and weight are dropped in.

That doesn't make it a "lie." It makes it "all part of the show."

Sites like that are very aware that they're selling a lifestyle as much as they're selling porn. Lifestyle might even come in above the "porn" part.

Yes but in the "about this site" or "about me" section where the studio owner or whoever describes the site, the men, etc. they usually make it a point to say that the guys are real, yadda, yadda, yadda, so even if it is part of the business, it's still a lie.

Sean Cody has a section like that on their site, but that is interesting what you're saying.

Sites that feature an amature style usually claim their guys are real and this is their fist experience, etc. but it's interesting to know that they are still putting on a show. Not that there is anything wrong with that but I was always curious as to how many guys on Military Classified or Active Duty are actually military or ex military and things of that nature.

OK, then I guess that means the stuff in the profiles at Sean Cody aren't ALWAYS lies.

That's nice to know but I'm sure stuff like jobs, college info and location is changed and that's understandable.

OK, we're having a very obvious breakdown in communication.

they're not "lies." They're not real people. They're playing characters. Some of the character's details are based on reality and some are not. But they're not "lies" anymore than it was a "lie" that Adam West had a big cave under his house and a hot young man with a big dick living with him.

Not exactly. Sometimes it's 100% made up. Sometimes they come up with a character and then find a guy to fit him, sometimes the guy is interesting enough that his character is created for him.

So.. is you calling yourself "Sultan" a "lie" or is it just "a screen name?"
