hey chance respond to this.. im serious

technically anyone running for president and making alot of important decisions takes guts. And the fact that hes black and will make a new chapter in history books.. that IS courage. You ARE racist like many who say it isn't there when sub consciously IT IS and people admit it. Race does play an important roll. Sure alot of people like him... and alot don't. Gay people that support McCain many times can't say why they pick Mccain over Obama that is a gay supporting democrat.. They think up crappy reasons like hes brave.. he was in the war.. he went though that... poor him. Ok now as for this country.. what does he have planned that actually makes sense and how he views about civil rights for all minority groups so that everyone is placed on an equal level and so that we can all get on a fresh start?

As for other nations.. Mexico is just one. There are many great nations.. thats why people leave the US. I love the usa.. but im not an ignorant egotistic twerp who thinks I live in the greatest country and wish to live in the dark. There is another world outside the USA and many different values and cultures. People wish to live in the dark because they're arrogant and would never want to live a new experience. Some are so scared they stay right in their backyard shouting theres no better place like what they already and only know.

being black and running for pres is not "courageous" in my book - which is not to say BO is not a courageous man - don't know him well enough - his tossing The Rev aside didn't seem very courageous to me but ............ like i said - don't really know him - which is the problem i think

i think mccain is brave but that is not why i will pull the lever for him - i think he is a man of principle and i agree with him on iraq, on terror, on the economy - on most fiscal/security issues - but moreso because i trust him - and i think in these times we need a man of great character as the next 4 will be killer

lots goin on outside of the US - but we're the bomb - as in the most important country in the world - Europe knows it - everyone knows it - is what it is - that's not arrogance - that's knowing what is

... and i would suggest that "awareness of others" among neo-conservatives is nonexistent, save Sunday mornings. Nothing brings out their sense of caring more than peer recognition of their public good works. :(

You do know that people who fight for gay rights are liberals right? So that you can be openly gay without being declared a mental patient? So that you might hopefully one day be married in a nation that is SUPPOSED to be land of the free when other nations such as Denmark allow gay marriage. And you think this is the greatest nation yet you are considered more of an equal citizen in another country far away? If you are paying taxes like everyone else and must follow the laws.. you are still not an equal citizen as you are a minority fighting for your rights as an American to do what a str8 man would be able to do.

a minor should not be on the forums and I could be wrong. The fact that he was very shady about disclosing his age and ignoring me when i asked if he was a minor.. that gives me the right to wonder. I would have brought it up regardless what topic we were on.

But it surely demonstrates disrespect, maybe I'm too "old-school" or something but I do feel slightly offended when someone supposedly educated seemingly considers his audience unworthy of bothering using proper grammar and spelling.

Now looking at said substance, I refuse your use of words such as "developed" ( " fill in the blank ............... " is not something I'd call "developed") or "very mature" in regards to Chance1's opinions... the latter being, in fact, often based on a strange, delusional and unrealistic vision of the world and system of values.

In example, popularity seems to be the ultimate value and guarantee of credibility in his eyes... FOX News/O' Reilly are good and accurate because of good audience rates (no comments); John McCain is proved a great man because he gets a 5 points difference in polls (remember Hitler was elected democratically... ); US is the best country to live in because a lot of immigrants emigrate there (using this logic Pakistan and Iran, which are the territories that provide asylum to most people from outside their borders, are the best places to live, human-rights-wise !!) ...
What maturity do you see there?
