I really like the show, but does anybody besides me wish Jon would just tell Kate to shut up every now and then? What a shrew she is.

Yes, I completely agree, and it's the reason I stopped watching the show regularly. I can't stand the way she treats Jon, and he rarely stands up to her.

It's so funny though, because you can tell Kate is a classic bully (and btw, Maddie is a Kate clone) because whenever Jon occasionally DOES fire back at her, she completely backs down. She only likes picking on people she knows won't fight back. When they do, she can't handle it.

I feel like fuckin Gossip Girl over here but Kate is estranged from Jodi and Kevin too now. If you notice Jodi hasnt been on the show since I think last season. There was a dispute because TLC wanted to have Jodi be more part of the show and pay her. Kate didnt want anyone to make money off her kids and threatened to stop doing the show if Jodi was paid. Kate also felt Jodi made her look bad. Which she kinda did because Jodi was so nice and nurturing even when she had J&K 8 kids plus 4 or 5 of her own. Kate's anal and crazy personality makes everything much more difficult than it needs to be.

LMAO yes, there was a lot of drama because one of Jodi's friends posted a huge blog entry or whatever about the gum episode because she thought it made Jodi look bad and she thought it was Kate's fault that it was edited that way. It's a huge mess.

I think there's a foreclosure joke to be made if the show gets cancelled. I'll avoid it for now.

I heard on the radio this morning that the production company for their show, based in North Carolina, actually purchased the house. I've also heard rumors that the new house is actually located in NC rather than PA.

That makes a LOT more sense. Kind of how the production company owns the house for Flavor of Love, even though within the context of the program, it's supposed to be "his" house.
