I'm not sure if I like it. Reminds me a little too much of 'Over It'. But she sounds great besides that one point towards the end where her vibrato goes out of control!
 
She's always had a nice voice. I could go into how I thought Melinda deserved to win AI 7 by far, but I won't. I'll just say that this song is like-able, yet a bit generic, just like you've heard it before.

But it could be worse, right?

LOL I totally agree. It's very generic sounding. Carrie has the voice, but she chose country :(, Kelly has the catchy pop rock and the voice, but her lyrics could improve just a tad, and now Jordin, like the others, has a nice voice, but has *this* as her first single. I can see it coming and going with barely anyone taking notice. It doesn't stand out much. But I guess some people will be tapping there feet to it, and humming along.

Shit, you never know, I might be one of those people! Who knows the future? =P

Good song.
I love her voice. I didn't follow this season at all. I've been a fan sence Season 1 but this season wasn't anything special for me. I do like this song and her voice is really something different and I like it.

I like Jordin but this song is nothing special. And for those of you who mentioned originality, I agree. Sade already has a song called "Like A Tattoo"......and it is superior to this one.
