This guy is 18 and so cute. Look at those eyelashes and those dimples .... His r&b clip is better but not so much in close up. He won't win unless all the 12 yr old girls vote for him but he's great eye candy.

Personally, I think this year's top 12 is by far the best we've had. So hard to choose who has the edge over whom!

I don't really care too much about who wins but it's an entertaining way to pass an hour. I agree that this season's lineup is pretty good and the show is slicker than it's been. There are some very good performers - unfortunately Joseph IMHO ain't one of the slickest (yet), but he's such a cutie. And I way prefer his less than brilliant singing to some of them. Anyway, it's not up to me, it's up to the early teens (or whoever) who vote for them.

She definitely has the potential to go all the way. There's something about Lisa Mitchell though, that I find totally captivating at the moment; and Lavina Williams I think is also brilliant.

I thought Chris Murphy put in a fantastic performance last night ..... he's definitely a better singer and performer than brother Courtney, IMHO. Mind you, I'm a tad biased towards the Murphy boys as I know both of them quite well. The family used to live in Albany (where I live) and I taught both boys when they were at high school. Courtney was quite serious and studious at school, while Chris was a 'slacker', but a really likeable character with a great sense of humour. There's also another brother, Kieran, whom I taught and who is also a talented performer (mainly on the drums, but he also provides backing vocals for their group, Murphy's Lore)

Sad, but no surprise that Joseph is the first to leave. He's such a baby. Lisa is good (very good!) but won't go far unless she stickks to her true self. I LOATHE the Murphys. That Chris is such a camera hog. Get him off asap.

Indeed, she just needs to be smarter with her song selection from now on, no more bottom three visits for her.
