I have always been fascinated by a stripsearch, the loss of status the subject suffers as he takes off his clothes at the instruction of another man.

There have been recent cases where high profile businessmen, used to positions of authority, have been found guilty of fraud and have found themselves in prison, at the mercy of people they would normally treat with contempt.

If a prison officer has to perform a stripsearch on such a man, he would be anxious to demonstrate who is in charge. The best way to achieve this is to order the businessman to remove his trousers immediately. That will shock the man out of any complacency and as he unzips his trousers he acknowledges the authority of the prison officer.

I was desperate. I needed someone to steal something for me. I found out about a man who might get involved and decided that whatever the risk I would have to approach him.



He didn't want to meet in a public place so I came to his flat. He welcomed me and I entered ready to talk. But then he pulled a gun on me and told me to strip. I'm not brave so I didn't hesitate before pulling at my shirt.
