"Rights"? Seriously. What a bizarre non-sequitur. Everyone has the right to be lazy or ignorant, but it's not one which requires vigorous defense or protection.
Have no idea why you think someone culturally ignorant of Broadway allusions would then get references to a Broadway actor and the same play that was missed in the original reference.
A conversation is a conversation, but asking lazy questions usually doesn't garner interest or interaction.
And, as I said, asking why Google wasn't used didn't take away anyone's rights, only probed why the right to learn wasn't deployed.
