Not much going for West Coast, have only won one game at Moron Park since 1998, Essendon almost ran them down in the last quarter last Sunday, after being umpteen goals in front........Some players carrying injuries and should not be out in the paddock.

Might be a miserable weekend Brad.

Now to Subi on Friday night. Brad I should come over, but I cannot, I am flying to the US on Sunday morning, for a fortnight (now there is a word that our Yankee friends do not understand).

Depart LAX at 10.30 pm Friday 28 July, which just happens to be about half time at the AFL Grand Final. It will be my luck that the Pies will win through to play in the Grand Final, and to go on and win their first Premiership for 17 years, and I will be in the air! Flying United so the ignorant flight crew, being Americans, would not make score announcements.

After last week's miserable effort - 1 out of 4 - I really have to pick winners! So this week, I am going for The Eagles and the Hawks. I am choosing the Eagles out of loyalty, and the Hawks because my mother's brother's wife's mum and dad used to live across the road from Leigh Matthew's and his mum and dad (the famed Herbie Matthews) in Carnegie (Melborne) in the 1950's and 60's.
