Three things:

I want to congratulate Benny 1 for being the Top Tipster this season. Well done, mate. I've been looking after the cup for the past year .... and I've sent it on to you to display on your mantlepiece. Just be sure to dust it every week!

Secondly, sincere thanks to ozguy for initiating this thread and for keeping it going.

Thirdly, this is my final post on JUB as I don't feel welcome here any more. This thread explains things:

Your decision Alex. What ever you do, good luck in your future projects. Keep barracking for the Sainters, one day they might win a Grand Final by one point again (a la 1966). They appear to be going through some internecine strife at the moment, how safe is Butterss?

This thread seems to have "died"! Have a few people lost interest now that their teams have been put out with the trash? My tipping over the past 2 weeks has been wonderful. One out of 6! I think I have been putting the kiss of death on some teams.

Anyway, this weekend I am going for the Cats and Power.

Maybe he was a touch brave as well seeing as he took his mate Tim Callan along as his "date" because his Danish girlfriend is overseas. Do you think he may have taken a bit of good-natured ribbing from his team mates? I just have to wonder if footballer Tim had to walk the red carpet along with all the other wives, girlfriends and dates?

I tossed a coin - heads for Geelong, tails for Port. It came down tails. OK, I said to myself...best of three. Tossed again and the 20c bit came up tails. OK, best of 5. Tossed again and not a queen's head to be seen. So, it looks like I am going for Port.
