Yay!! I'm coming second last!

Anyone got any tips for this desperate Collingwood supporter- and don't say tip against the Maggies as I'll never do it!

8 out of 8 last week. First time for me in about 10 years. A good round of Footy.

Now for this week.

I'm not sure about the other matches but the stupid draw has the Crows playing the Eagles again.

Soundly beaten by the Crows who were far better on the day .... I can cope with that!

Will history repeat itself ozguy? I think so.

What else is there to say.

Having said that the pies did win last week.

Here's some tips for you aussierob.

Always pick the Cats and the Hawks (maybe the Dogs).
Pick the Crows, and the Swans at home.
If you're ever unsure pick the home team.
Don't pick the Demons, Dockers or Eagles (at the moment).

Or just pick the team with the better looking players.

Or the team with the strongest mascot. (eg Dog beats Cat)

Or the team with the best colour coordinated uniform....

Sometimes all logic and research and stats mean nothing.

I find often my first gut tip is the right one. I often change my tips later in the week only to find my first tip was right.

Go with your gut.

Well, I'll be buggered, so to speak, I never thought to post my tips here and with me leading the tipping comp after this past round I think I should from now on.

Being a Magpie Supporter this week is going to be a hard one to pick...may have to toss a coin for this one.

Thanks for the tips Crowboy, I don't know where I'm going wrong, cos I've been getting 6 and 7 a week on average. I suppose it's time to tip against the Maggies and actually pick Geelong as well as the Doggies.

I would laugh if you picked against the Pies and they won.

Indeed- I would totally piss myself as well. So I guess tipping against the Woodies does have it's advantages.

The game which could go either way is Lions v Roos and I might change my tip from the lions to the Roos after a good sleep.

sounds like your going to need a bucket not your footy tips

although its getting pretty bad now for me mcleod edwards basset and goody look like they will be in steady decline they are the one who have let us down for a few weeks now hopefully they can turn it around but i dont think all 4 will be around next year edwards and bass look most likely to go

but on the upside Trent Hentschell should be back soon after that huge injury and were not being killed even with only our kids playing well

oh and a kid called taylor walker is going to be a star for us bookmark it

I have decided I'm not going to have this problem.
I have put my tips in this week....all of them.

A dismal 3 last week because I changed my mind at the last minute for a few games. Well not any more. All my tips are in for the year. We'll see how I go.

As for the split round, no footy on Channel 7 today so guess what is on in S.A.
A replay of the 1998 Grand Final Crows vs Roos. Carn the Crows. In W.A. they are showing the 2006 GF. At least ozguy can watch his team win for a change.

I keep forgetting to come in here and announce my tips.

I am confused at the ladder because even though I show on the list as being in 9th places it also tells me that I am current 3 out of 10 ... but it has certainly been interesting.

At this stage of the game you are in 2nd place but dont forget that they have the added the finals rounds.

I am currently in 4th place so anything can happen between now and the end of the season.

hmm, i don't know about this including the finals business. i'm a traditionalist when it comes to tipping. it's all over after round 22 as far as i'm concerned. unless of course I end up in first place after the finals, in which case GIMME THAT TROPHY!
