JUB age gap

I am actually envious of the younger generation, I am 42 [and not a senior BTW]. It would seem it is much easier now to be open or they are just much more courages than I was at that age, then again it took me way to long to accept myself.

Definitely it's true that greater availability of facts does not result in greater extent of education.

Because current sexual education crosses out sexual orientation as an important material and instead insists that 1). penis into vagina is the only legitimate way to make children, 2). sex is scary because pregnancy risks are always there (refer to point 1), and 3). if you're looking for sex for pleasure, you're into free sex and God will punish you because it's a sin.

See? No gay issues there. No coincidence either the ones teaching are most often Christians and/or old maids.

I know what you mean!
Enlighten me then about what I wrote there

In any case, if we were to concur on that, maybe it would rather be from opposites of the spectrum, to wit, that I have always felt/acted/talked TOO OLD FOR MY AGE...

Go back even farther like me, and not only was there no internet...THERE WASN'T EVEN ANY GAY PORNO that could easily be found!

I lived in a moderate-sized city (Ann Arbor),
Teeming with horny college guys I understand ..?

Sure.

That's why Prop 8 failed in California -- the supportive young people turned out in droves to show where they stood.

Except.... they didn't.

Which leads to this comment: too many young people take for granted what's been gained, so much so that they don't realize they need to be out there fighting. Being "aware" and having supportive thoughts is worthless if votes don't follow.

Young people don't tend to vote as much as older people.

As the young start voting and the old start to die off, things like Prop 8 will become history.

It won't be five years until gay marriage comes back to CA. During the same period, it will come to HI, WA, OR, NV, IL, NJ, ME, RI, WI, MN and perhaps FL. You'll see.

I really don't care. I don't think anything of anyone. Age is nothing. It's the person and their level of maturity.

I've seen guys over 50 here that act like children. I've also seen 20 year olds that act right.

Hey! I resemble that remark, Buddy! !oops! :slap:

And, don't regret a moment of it! :-<

I believe it may have been FrankFrank, who had this (or something like it) in his siggy quotes:

"We don't stop playing when we get older. We get older when we stop playing!" (!) (!w!)

The Smilies are My addition. Imagine THAT! (group)

All the more reasons to ... no matter what ...

Keep smilin'!!(*8*)
Chaz :luv:

joswanprince, come to the Portland JUB Meet and we can discuss this in person. :-)

And age is just a number anyways....

There are all kinds of young guys.

Like there are all kinds of old guys.

Hard to generalize, but I think the younger guys are a bit unaware of their history and their importance.
