  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
    Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

JUB buddies -> REAL friends.

OP ? What does it means ? I have to guess abbreviations. It impedes my translations. So establishing an online presence/reputation isn't an easy task. It will take much time.

OP=original post(er)

It's the person who started the thread.

"Posteur originale" - C'est la personne qui a lancé le "thread".

I partially agree for the distance, but, for real friends, I don't think it's totally impossible (a visit for holidays for example).

Depends what kind of distance we're talking about.

Holland <> France is fine - just a few hours by train. I'm going to the UK in a few weeks just to meet up with friends. I make a weekend of it and that's perfectly fine.

Holland <> United States is a lot more difficult. Finding the time and the money to fly over to for example San Antonio, Texas (just a random GL city and there's certainly no-oneGLI'd like to meet GL there) is next to impossible. Sadly.

Merci pour la traduction/Thanks for the translation.

Oh, sorry...I did not look at your location until now.

'OP' means 'opening post' or 'opening poster'. An 'OP' is the post that started the thread and/or the person who created the thread (original). If you stay around long enough and read the forums often your English will improve, and you will make friends. :kiss: On peut apprendre beaucoup en lisant. ..|
Don't apologize. Your weren't the first and you won't be the last who uses abbreviations or specific expressions. Inch by inch, I learn abbreviations and improve my english and it becomes tiny bit easier to read posts.

Yes but not TOTALLY impossible. It's sure that it will take time to economise for a long travel and it's difficult to organize such au travel. In this case, maybe we can ask our distant friend to give us tips to buy a cheaper ticket or to find us an hotel not too expensive for example. It's not rare that someone visits a distant friend. Quand on veut on peut (= when we want, we can).

^ Indeed, not completely impossible. Just very, very unlikely.

And I'd ask the distant friend if I could sleep at their house. ;)

And if he's single, you can ask other thing (:sex:). Don't splash anywhere while cumming. The cleaner will be angry. Ah ah ah !!!

I live so far out in the middle of nowhere that I doubt I will ever have any real friends.

Ask frankfrank.

Don't be so pessimistic !
