JUB Buddylist Firefox Extension - UPDATED for v3.5

A small Firefox Extension/Addon for using the JUB Sidebar is now available for installation.
Basically it allows you (when using Firefox) to have your buddylist open all the time and see who is online or not, in the style of an instant messenger or social network website

It only takes a few moments to get it up and running. Easy to install, and once it's done, you can place an icon into your toolbar to toggle the Buddy List extension on and off. It can be used even though you're not browsing the JUB forum at the time.

After the installation restart Firefox. Now you can quickly access your JUB Buddylist either by:

• pressing Alt+J or
• selecting View -> Sidebar -> JUB Buddylist or
• rightclicking somewhere in your toolbar (where the back, forward and home buttons are), choosing "customize", then scroll down and drag the JUB icon with your mouse somewhere into your toolbar. Then click "Done" and your new button also should bring up the JUB Buddylist immediately.

As it is, a quarter of JUB is cropped off the right side of my screen and I'm constantly scrolling side to side. I certainly don't need anything which will cause even more scrolling.

If I need my Buddy List, it's right there in the Quick Links.

Try "Ctrl +" and "Ctrl -" and see how it looks after you change the view size of the browser window.

If you're talking to me, that doesn't work. All it does is change the size of the text. The tables remain fixed.

I've had to shrink this screen cap down a bit to fit the image size limitations but I wanted to show you the scroll bar at the bottom.

^ well it is of course aimed at (now) common resolutions. and i made it specifically because you cannot have the extra window buddy list always in sight and I consider it quite annoying to always check another window.

If you saw my Buddy List, you would know why I don't really need to see it all the time.

I just admire your brain that you can actually create something like that when I can't even build a decent house out of Lego blocks..

it's a good idea, but my comp is so small that if I reduced the page anymore would need a magnifying glass to read the print. I have a tech book, and like gsdx I would be constantly scrolling back and forth. On a diff note, will be going to Germany...Berlin in the fall.

I updated the sidebar, it is now compatible with Firefox 3.5.*
