off for several days for the holidays .......

a series of "lovely days"

I know.. I know it was a nice post on many levels because it served so many purposes...

Norah and I grew up just a few miles from each other. Her High School kicked my High School's ass during our "Senior Night" Friday Night Football Game.

I hear that she lives in Brooklyn, NY now, or somewhere there about.

Every time she appears at a venue in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area, I make sure that I have tickets. :D

Sadly, her Dad Ravi Shankar died last week.

norah is nothing if not .............. dreary

was at dinner last night with a gym buddy of mine at el ay si

I was a Freshman in High School when this song hit Top 40.

I had a crush on him.

We met over the summer at "Church Camp."

He took me to a "commercial gym" for the first time.

I heard this song and wanted to dance.

He threatened to "toss me" into the showers.

I used to dislike Bonjovi - not intensely - but didn't care for his music or schtick

I love him now - great entertainer - great causes - and I dig his music

"who says you can't go home"

he did it with bruce springsteen at the hurricane sandy concert recently - really good

Tex that is a damn good song to sing while your drinking....

I cant get why I am single....

^ it was too easy Jay and I do like easy ;)

as for Rick and the song it's under the category "so bad it's good" :)

wish i could get my hair like that - hehe

could do w/o the trenchcoat

i cut a mean rug to this - u need a lotta room to slide across the dance floor

IT IS SETTLED!

For the Halloween fundraiser for the local AIDS Hospice in 2013 in Dallas, I'll be Gwen:

Y'all don't think I can "rock that look?"

Bring it to Dallas next fall, and your money. It's for a good cause. :D
