In all seriousness I've had some REAL culture clashes in CA. California humor and New York humor are quite different. I've made jokes that would have New Yorkers rolling and gotten nothing from the Californians but "oh, don't put yourself down" which of course is what our humor is all based on. Of course I tried to save it by saying "If I don't put myself down, how can I get anyone to pick me up?" but they didn't see the humor in that, either.

And FOR YOUR INFORMATION, Miss Thing, I only became eligible for that button TEN years ago. I got it for a FRIEND.
