Glad you have a lot of interest too and want to join us, sigma... be great having you too! As many locals as possible joining up with us, even if time is a problem just doing dinner or something with us, will really make the meet memorable. This is sizing up as a pretty decently attended meet.. if I had any idea it would get as serious a response as it has I would have planned it earlier. But as have told Frank a few times this gets suggested and NOTHING seems to happen. With New York City that just SHOULDN'T be! This time it looks like it's paid off, finally!:D

How about starting at Dallas BBQ and then from there pick the bars, most are walking distance apart.

Less than a week away! At least a couple of us will be first meeting Thursday evening, perhaps adding an option for any "locals" who may be entirely tied up over the weekend and unable to get there. Yes palbert and myself will probably be meeting by 5PM Thursday. I think a PM or a post (in the other thread) mentioned Sausy being with at least the two of us to get a dinner somewhere Thursday night or something like that.

I've LONG wanted to see a NY City meet happen, and I always hoped that (if it did happen) I would be able to come along for the camaraderie, the fun, the walking, etc., all in the spirit of I♥NY.

I'm very happy to see that FPNY should be joining us part of Saturday. Another guy here I've long wanted to meet. Yes, it's really gonna happen!!! I was somewhat despairing that the Portland OR meet more than two years ago may have been the final one. I so HOPED that I would be proven wrong, and that has happened!!!!

Oh...*BUMP* for this thread, too - because I CAN, lol.
 
Oh, also...if there's anybody who thinks they can meet with us Thursday evening and would want to do that (whether or not you can come Friday and/or Saturday, but especially if Thursday is your only option), please PM one or all of us (me, palbert, Sausy) and we should be able to figure it all out.

I only have a stupidphone, but I'm guessing palbert may have a smartphone which would give him less-sporadic and more reliable internet access than I'll have. I only have internet access when physically located somewhere with my laptop or somebody else's computer.

Hoping some last minute additions can make it, and locals ALWAYS welcome...weather is supposed to be great, mostly sunny or clear and pleasantly warm days in the mid 70's and cool, comfortable nights around 60 for lows. A nice early fall Friday/ Saturday in New York City with some Jubbers!:D
 
Can the meet be put on Skype so the rest of us can at least join in virtually?
