Are there any known Jubbers in the area?



I can only think of three people from Texas and two don't post anymore.
 
Hurricane Harvey - Pets

I am disgusted with how many in flooded areas left their pets to fend for themselves. In some cases they left them tied to a post or something so they didn't even have a chance to survive. Why the hell would someone do that? How fucked up do you have to be to leave a pet to die?


Thoughts?

Some may not have had a choice but, from what I've read and seen on the news, they had plenty of time to evacuate. Still, they may have underestimated the flooding until it was too late.

I doubt their car was so packed they could not take their pet, but if it was why did some people leave their pet tied to something so they could not get away? I don't get people.

As the saying goes in my family: you don't really know a person until you inherit with them. People who seem nice can turn out to be egotistic sadists in a different context.

Also, remember, this is Texas. Death penalty capital of the world. They don't care about life, human or otherwise.

Unimaginable that anyone would leave their pet behind.

Even worse is where people left their dogs chained.

Texas is a big place. Realize that land falling hurricane Harvey was about 225 miles south of tropical storm Harvey floods in greater Houston and Beaumont - port Arthur Texas. They are the same storm but different events. There is a jubber from corpus Christi, which is hurricane harvey impacted. I know of none from Houston area. But they have no utilities if they have a home now to respond.
