Jubbers in undies ....

Farcebook is ridiculous beyond belief at this point. No wonder it is swirling the bowl.

I posted the pic in an invitation only, PRIVATE Facebook group - called Australian Gay Guys
Apparently, my selfie "failed to meet community standards on sex and nudity"
FB claim there is a decision appeals process - but it is unmanned and never responds.

If FB had any clue on marketing, they would a separate entity called "Facebook Adult Private Group"
allowing a step above their blanket, Victorian standards.

But, hey, what would I know ?
I don't hold a marketing degree.

... not sure what the procedures are in your State but we take all comers, especially the elderly, and they are a huge part of the population.

Oh, in NYC emergency rooms are supposed to take everyone, but there are so many walk-in clinics like CityMD around that an emergency room would tell a grandma with a boil that she could wait six hours (or more) to be seen in the ER or wait just a couple of hours (if that) at CityMD, and granny would probably just go to CityMD.

People bring boils to the ER??

Isn't that what walk-in clinics like CityMD are for?
While I agree it seems to be a waste of resources to lance a boil in the ER...I had one of those years ago right under my 'belt line' and it was really really painful. It seemed like weeks from the time is was became painful and growing until days later when the packing was removed from the boil site. I used my local medical clinic for the care. It still took many days to be able to comfortably be able to wear a belt. I had to wear a belt for work because of the equipment I needed to carry.

Oh, sure, but that was back before walk-in clinics like CityMD became common, right? And it sounds like your local medical clinic (your phrase) might not have been an emergency room as such. But you certainly needed a doctor.

Waaaaaay back when I was a youngster, I had one of those NYC entry-level nonprofit jobs that was interesting and prestigious but with very low pay. The health insurance had something like a $2,000 deductible that I couldn't hope to meet (which is why I had no regular GP). But ER visits were covered 100%.

At one point I had a sinus infection I could not shake off. After two weeks, it was getting worse (and people were tired of me honking my nose into Kleenex at the office), so my only choice was the ER. I had a wait of more than six hours (could have been worse), and the ER doc who finally saw me groused about people using an emergency room as a clinic. I told him about my insurance and he asked why I didn't go to one of the City's low-cost clinics. I told him that the earliest appointment I could get there was in six weeks.

That kind of situation is what walk-in places like CityMD were created to address.

I can't believe I'm going on about this on a thread about underwear pics. Sorry.
