Well, she is a judge, after all. We expect a little more from people in leadership positions like that. You know, captains go down with the ship and all.
Are you just a moron? What would you have done if you were there? No one else said anything, they stood there like headless chickens. Judge Judy hid under her table, she didnt run away.
You take care of yourself when a disaster strikes, she didnt have 5 minutes to stand there and tell all the idiots what to do.
Retired or not, she still retains the title of judge until she dies. Kinda of like when you get your Ph.D and your a Dr. till the day you die. What the fuck do you mean (judge) she is a fucking RETIRED judge AND THAT IS NOT A COURT ROOM ITS A FUCKING TV SET. She is nothing more than a mediator for the cases on the show.
Okey, I wasn't planning on rejoing the site, but after all the bad posts about Judge Judy I just had to step in. You folks bashing Judy haven't watched the tape too closely have you. At 7sec the fist shake and the Judge is still thaking care of the case, 11sec a harder hit that makes the Judge move where everyone thinks she's running out on everyone, but he's the part that nobody pay attention to, look at the 27sec mark, she didn't leave, she went under the desk like your suppose to, then at the end you can hear her asking people to take their seats. Before you "judge" someone be sure you know what your judging.
I doubt anyone besides you will think ill of her leadership skills. She did what is expected of a human being, survival or the fittest and SELF PRESERVATION.Not everybody NEEDS to be told what to do in situations like that but not everybody reacts well to those kinds of emergencies and she'll be the first to tell you it's her "courtroom" and that she's "in charge" so a quick 'Take Cover!' into the mic isn't too much to ask from the person in charge is it?
I don't think it speaks ill of her as a person but I don't think she should expect anyone to respect her in any kind of authority or leadership role ever again. (not that I did in the first place)
I'm too busy looking at the defendant's facial expressions. He was so confused.![]()
