Actually, the people here saying the Judge Judy needed to do something or tell the conduct the crowd is part of the mentality that exists that gives her many of her cases: people not taking responsibility for themselves!

I mean seriously...it's a fricking earthquake....you feel the ground shake, the light fixtures shake, and you get the hell out of there! These people are in Southern California, you'd think they would know how to handle an earthquake, and by the looks of it, they did!

Again, I'd like to think that if I am in a situation like this, I do not need someone to tell me to get out. It's common sense. She didn't abandon anyone. Give me a break.

Retired or not, she still retains the title of judge until she dies. Kinda of like when you get your Ph.D and your a Dr. till the day you die.
 
Okey, I wasn't planning on rejoing the site, but after all the bad posts about Judge Judy I just had to step in. You folks bashing Judy haven't watched the tape too closely have you. At 7sec the fist shake and the Judge is still thaking care of the case, 11sec a harder hit that makes the Judge move where everyone thinks she's running out on everyone, but he's the part that nobody pay attention to, look at the 27sec mark, she didn't leave, she went under the desk like your suppose to, then at the end you can hear her asking people to take their seats. Before you "judge" someone be sure you know what your judging.

I doubt anyone besides you will think ill of her leadership skills. She did what is expected of a human being, survival or the fittest and SELF PRESERVATION.

Not to mention, there was more than one person in the audience, and if your too stupid to realize to move with the crowd, than Judge Judy couldn't have helped you anyway.
