3. Judge Judy- Judge Judy: $30 million: I can't believe people still watch her show! She's about one step up from Jerry Springer.
4. Katie Couric- CBS Evening News: $15 million: Her ratings so far have indicated that CBS probably could have spent that money elsewhere.
5. Matt Lauer- Today co-anchor: $12 million: Katie's former partner in crime continues to show the world how being bland and uninteresting can earn you major cash.
6. Bob Barker- The Price is Right: $10 million: The former legendary host raked in the big bucks each year. It's a shame he still can't host for another 10 years.
7. Meredith Vieira- Today co-anchor: $10 million: Moving from the disaster that is The View to the Today show proved to be the right move for Vieira, not to mention the added cash.
8. Maury Povich- The Maury Povich Show: $7 million: I can't believe you can earn $7 million a year just for giving the scum of the earth the results to their paternity tests.

10. Ellen DeGeneres- The Ellen DeGeneres Show: $5 million: Ellen has proved to be one of most likable people on television and will probably be taking over Oprah's spot once she retires.

lol..lol..Its just tv....tv for the weak minded...All these court judges are (have beens) If you noticed they are all retired or have beens. All the cases have been decided and ruled on before the shows are even aired.The people on these shows get paid.Its all just show and tv ( poor tv I might add)

I know her bitchy attitude is just for show but she is only a bitch to people who usually deserve it. Obviously some of the comments she makes wouldn't fly in a real court room but people who are comparing it to Jerry Springer are over exagurating. I actually learn some things about law from watching these shows. Sure it's entertainment but it isn't mindless entertainment in the same aspects of Maury or Springer.

First of all the bitch is not in a court room. Its a fucking tv studio.
Everyone should go to your search engine and type in (judge joke judy) when the page comes up scroll down till you see the same phrase(judge joke judy ) read the entire article. The people who go on her show have to agree that she can talk down on them and sling her scatty shit .What people want do for a little money and to say they have been on tv.

So what? That is their problem. These people know how to get people watching them and how to make money, and Judge Judy has obviously graduated with a law degree and she has been a lawyer for a very long time before starting her show.

I truly adore Judge Judy, she knows her stuff, she is intelligent, and doesnt tolerate any nonscense. She can be as rude as she likes in her court, its her court, her rules. If ignorant people annoy her, or speak when they shouldnt, they deserve a telling off for lacking manners in a court of justice.

I wish everyone was as intelligent as she is. Oprah and Jerry Springer on the other hand are a pair of idiots that dont really know a lot themselves, but manage to get the common people who are like them watching their shows. I have never been a fan of either, but I love both X Factor / Idol contests, Got Talent, and now Judge Judy.

Brilliant stuff, people who dont like her are obviously not as smart as she is.
