Another shot under the light of the moon last night . This was taken at about 1 a.m. It was so beautiful out there, I didn't want to come in.
This was a 4 minute time exposure. The start trails are a dead giveaway that it's a long exposure, along with the blurry clouds.
So as promised, I went out and shot the moonrise last night. This shot was taken around midnight. That cold east wind I was worried about just died out as if on command and it was a dead calm out there. All you could hear was different flocks of geese out in the cold blackness of the Lake Ontario night and the sound of waves gently lapping at the icy faux shoreline... just incredible out there. I didn't get done shooting until 1 am. And I started at 9:40 when the moon rose.
Needless to say, I got a whole bunch of pictures that I'll be posting over the next couple of days.
