Split [STRIKE]House[/STRIKE] Rock Lighthouse - Minnesota

Forgive me for bringing up an old post (I've been offline for the past week.)

I've actually been to Split Rock Lighthouse on more than one occasion! Love it there.

From Split Rock Lighthouse, I have also visited Naniboujou Lodge near Lake Superior. Another wonderful vacation spot that I like to visit!

We had a Sinclair Gas Station at the foot of the hill of our neighborhood in Vestal - they had a big dinosaur (apatosaurus).

I use to work service stations for a little around 30 years. Miss some of the old brands around when I was young. Some are still in business just not in Florida.

I'd forgotten all about this brand of petrol. The name Supercortemaggiore and the six-legged fire-breathing lion used to fascinate me as a child.

Never heard of that one Essex. Had to look it up. Not much about it but that it was an Italian Company.
