Just returned from an overnight stay in Chateau Eza. I was treating a friend for her 60th birthday. You can see the hotel and it's terraces, a view of one of the streets in the hill village and a shot of the peninsular of Cap Ferrat.

I live on Cap Ferrat but on the other side.

Exploring Slough...

The Bird Tree by Giusseppe Lund.
The life-sized tree of birds is forged in stainless steel and stands eight metres high. The tree stands outside the entrance to the Queensmere Shopping Mall. Lund worked with local people who designed templates for the birds that sit on the tree branches. Over 200 designs were received and some children had the chance to make their birds.

More Slough....

First thing I did was go visit the Museum of Slough. Well they call it a museum and in a sense it was, it was small and kind of dinky but lovingly looked after by old age pensioners who volunteered time and care.

Here's one of the exhibits on display. Peeking through the windows of time to the 1930's.
