Our backyard. The grass is kind of brown because we've gotten very little rain.

We had to put that Slinky across the railing to stop the birds from landing on it and pooping.

It has worked 100%. There's been absolutely no bird poop on the porch since.

What a beautiful view! You must spend hours out there!

Hydrangeas. I love 'em.
I took this photo at work a week ago and the change in a week's time is astonishing. Here there is still a lot of creamy white in among the pink and blue. Now the range is from blue to purple to pink. I'll take more pics as the flowers progress.

I went to a mall today i had not been to in a couple of years. I saw this cool fireplace that seemed to be burning rock crystals.

Yellow Crane Tower.
These red lanterns remind me of everything that is kitsch about China and yet seeing them there, they look wonderful.

Gentle breeze stirs the tassles of one of the lanterns as I look up at one of the pavillions.

Pond full of koi and goldfish and part of the rock collection that was on show here in one of the pavillions

I swear I saw these dragons performing in the Jardins Botanique in Montreal last year.

Red lanterns lead the way as we climb the steps to the South Tower or Anyuan Tower as it is known. Anyuan means Rose of the Moon. In ancient times poets went there to recite and write poetry.
