Oh -- I think I'd have to work really, really hard to break 100k before surgery! 5k posts in one month? That's five hundred every three days, or a hundred seventy or so a day.

And I've got a lot of conservation work to get done before then -- I certainly won't be able to do it after, because it will be too late to be transplanting things.

We saw some like these, today, that had washed up during the last storm. If I could get my truck out there, we'd move them up by pioneer clumps of dune grass, then surround the bottoms with branches and straw to catch sand and build a dune. The log would hold moisture, the grass would thrive, and we'd have the dune line move seaward.
