Yep---it's cool. I have talked to JUBbers from all over the world.
 
Skype usernames, definitely.
Skype phone numbers, probably, though I haven't tried.

Congrats on the Skype obtaining. Now cue all the JUBbers who want to Skype with you. ;)

Skype is evil. They don't let you delete your account and keep all your info :grrr:
 
Skype is fun, I'm not on it nearly enough.
 
Skype is fantastic -- it's amazing so few know about it. I talk with friends in Europe all the time.

When you compare the audio and video on Skype to Yahoo --- absolutely no comparison.
 
For IM, I prefer Windows Live Messenger. I find it easier to use and it has a much bigger following in the Netherlands. For video chat, Skype's excellent.

Just so you know... you can voice chat with multiple people at the same time (in the same convo)..

I've talked to Noelie, Alley, and Trawler in the same audio chat! ..|
 
Last week had a three way convarsation with my best friends. I'm in the USA, one was in Germany and the other in Mexico. So clear and free to boot.

Lol--I never got a word in---the three of in one conversation is hard as hell to follow. Much of it in some strange version of something ya'll call English.

I just downloaded skype on my iphone but it won't let me connect using 3G... bleh. No idea how it works or what it does that makes people crazy about it, but I guess I'll find out when I get home to some WiFi.

Signed up as kanemahu if anyone's keeping a log... lol.
