No matter the strength, deftness, duration, frequency, or any various combination of the aforementioned variables of ones slap, thus far I have yet to see a single candidate have any sense slapped into them.

Thusly, ones goal shouldn't be to slap sense into one, but instead to attempt to try and slap some foolishness out.

oh, that is the logic behind "tough love" and the republican platform - not to increase intelligence, but reduce foolishness. I would think that it might motivate more foolishness, but then, I have always advocated reason rather than might.

I'd accept a slap from you to get that foolishness out of me, if it would.
