My mom was originally a sociology major before getting into accountancy. She does accounting for adult housing for people with special needs which is the best of both worlds to her. One of the housing units is right down the street from her office so she gets to interact with the residents often and it makes her feel good.

Of course [IMO] dealing with an invalid husband yields the same results albeit less satisfying.

The only concern they have is the gust winds blowing.

My brother is in Milford CT and he is fine [albeit on vacation which I wish his wife berating him].

I am in the brunt of the storm where there is expected to be over two feet and such sympathy for me [not that I am soliciting it. My fucking lazy ass dad is too fucking fat to run the snow blower so I will have to tomorrow morning.]

I was just venting about a coworker... he took care of something that I really didn't want to have to deal with, so I thanked him and told him he did a good job on getting the project dealt with, but he refused to take the compliment.

I hate when either compliments or gift-giving become an enormous overproduction like that. Just take it with grace I say.
