^^I often wonder if those shots CAUSE the flu in some people rather than actually preventing it. Not had one this year but had a miserable cold last week (not flu).

I heard there's many strains of the flu and I caught one that I wasn't immunized for. This happened to me last year too.... had a flu shot and a couple months later had a bad case of the flu.

Whatever the case I hope it doesn't hang on for days on end. I feel lousy!

Yes, we're not primitive here! We outgrew horses as our main mode of transportation just a few years back. At least I grew up with a saddle, my dad would tell stories of bareback riding (and not the kind we take a liking to here)... No fun in that!

One of the few negative things I got from my father was an inability to take a compliment. My father's technique is to spin the compliment backwards by criticizing what's being compliment. "That was an amazing meal." "Actually, the vegetables didn't really turn out as I hoped."

I can do somewhat better, only be disassociating myself from what's being complimented. If you compliment a meal I cooked, I'll sort of emphasize the meal ("that was an excellent cut of meat") while ignoring my hand in creating it. If you compliment what I did in bed, expect me to talk about how you made it all possible. If you compliment the way I look...I'm kinda fucked. Luckily, this doesn't happen that often. :)

Hm. I guess we differ here. I've never posted on JUB while jerking off...or anything else, really. If I'm having sex, solo or otherwise, my whole attention is on that. I kind of lose myself in it. have to take a page from your book but it's always been hard for me to pay attention to whatever i do whether it's reading or masturbation. there's times where i'll be jerking off and then i wind up web surfing or looking around forums in the meantime while jogging it off. i've tried to focus all my attention towards getting off or whatever i'm doing but then i'll just start to become uninterested in whatever i'm doing. i would say that i need the extra stimulation to keep me interested in what i'm doing. i just can't focus myself on that one task at hand. i guess a part of that is because i've always masturbated with somebody around where i'm on the lookout where they don't walk in on me. that has happened before. i'm jerking off and then somebody just opens my door or i'm looking at porn and then someone comes around or worst off, somebody such as my mom is calling the downstairs phone or there's an important phone call where i have to stop what i'm doing. it's always been like that. more of a reason for me to get my own place.
