I knew this inventory would be bad, but not this bad - 2.6% of total inventory. One of the worst inventories in company history. Not kidding.

2.6% loss = about a quarter million dollars in missing/lost/stolen merchandise.

That can't possibly be true. The mods are in different countries in completely different time zones. To have a real-time discussion and vote every time someone needs punishing would be infeasible. Not to mention that I've seen someone get banned within minutes of creating a post, so there's no way the entire mod team got together and voted on it.

I might be reaching, but I think that they probably get together on cases where things aren't black and white. If it's a clear violation of COC, then maybe it only takes on mod to ban a person.

Actually - do/does the thread(s) in which this all went down still exist? I'd rather like to see everything for myself and make my deductions from that than going on hearsay (not that people are lying)....

You're actually correct. I remember Quasar mentioning it once, quite some time back.

If it's a clear-cut violation of the Terms Of Service/CoC - posting child porn, posting stuff that's on the "Content Never Allowed on JUB" list, a user who is found out to be underage - all can get you banned, and a single lone mod can make that call on their own.

Anything else, pretty much requires a discussion in private at Mod Towers.

I believe it happened it in the original "Confessions" thread, which has been conveniently swept under the carpet by MOD Towers. The "Men in Black" came in and flashed their little chrome sticks and erased our memories, and all other evidence has been removed.
