So it looks like this movie is going full steam and Ryan Reynolds has all but signed the bottom line to play The Flash. The bad news (depending on our view it could be good news)...niether Christian Bale or Brandon Routhe have been approached to be a part of the movie. AND...it will probably be done in a motion capture style, like the new Beowulf movie.

I am not devestated by the news of Brandon Routhe not being asked, wasn't a huge fan, but Christian Bale? He did say that he would hope that the JLA movie doesn't step on the toes of the latest Batman series and that they wait until the third insatllment is done. So maybe there is still hope for him to come on board.

They confirmed Superman, Batman, Flash, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern, hopefully others. Ryan Reynolds is hoping for a Flash spin-off and has also shown interest in playing Deadpool.:cool:
 
Well, given that the Batman of Justice League probably doesn't synch with the Batman of the new movie series...I'm not surprised.
 
I'm still going with my first choice for Michael Jai White to play John Stewart.

But Michael did the voice for Doomsday.

Well, David Boreanez is doing the voice of Hal Jordan in the animated movie. Whether or not he'd do the live action version....
 
^ There is another Justice League series? I thought they quit after Justice League Unlimited. I so loved that show.

This is really exciting. I hope they have John Stewart as the Green Lantern, but if it is Hal Jordan, I dont think Boreanez would be a good fit. Ryan Reynolds is perfect for the part of the Flash, he acts like the flash in most of his movies anyway. I would also say Chris Evans, but he is the Human Torch so there you go there lol

It would be stupid not to have Brandon Routh and Christian Bale are Batman and Superman. Well at least Christian Bale. Bale has really made Batman, Batman and he is perfect for the role. Not to mention, there is no Justice League without Batman and Superman.
 
Sounds great. And it WOULD work if Chris Evans was the flash or whoever in the movie, because of one key detail. The fantastic 4 is in the Marvel comic world, and the Justice Leauge is in the DC comic world.
 
I am aware of that. But people know him as the the Human Torch on the big screen and if he were to suddenly became a different superhero in a movie, critics would be saying how he played the same character but just in a different costume. Not everyone reads comic books, so they wouldn't easily seperate the two.

GL, that looks AMAZING. Talk about exciting, can't wait to go buy that.

So they're not using John Stewart? Well that sucks.

Oops the movie is Animated. I thought it was a Live Action movie. My mistake.
 
If they had decided to do it Live Action, it would take a couple years JUST for the special effects put together, let alone the actual sequences.

Anyway, it should be a good movie.
