Yeah i read that too and it really made me appreciate him more, I like that he is trying to break Rapper stereo types, because those do come a dime a dozen.

Apparently his support for the gay community isn't worth commending. Never ceases to amaze me how we can turn gay-friendly celebs into enemies yet celebs like (won't name names to avoid the flame-war) who don't do jack-squat for their gay fans are seen as idols, Gods, the fan-boys shove their heads all the way up said celeb's ass and any/everything they do is gobbled up vigorously.

I get what you're saying but what is exactly is Kanye supposed to do to further show his support? I can't remember the specifics of what he said in regards to homphobia in rap, but it was a good thing I believe.

I mean, do you want him to make a campy disco record or something to 'appeal' to gay fans more? Or dress up in drag and headline a gay pride march? Not only would something like that potentially damage his career as a musician, but it would be appealing to a gay stereotype, which really isn't any better.

He does come across as a big of an egotistical knob at times, but I like some of his views and ideas, and that he's trying to 'break the mould' as it were...

Basically what I was saying was, what do you think Kanye should do to 'show his support' or whatever? I personally think he did a good thing by calling out the homophobia found in a lot of Hip-Hop/Rap music, but I'm not sure if you do?

I absolutely hate his personality, but I think a lot of it is just an act of sorts for the media and think he might be cool on a one-on-one level away from the cameras. His music is good, but not nearly as great or groundbreaking as he thinks it is. Looks-wise? I go back and forth. In general, I wouldn't call him hot, but I'd say he's cute in a boy next door kind of way. I wouldn't mind seeing him naked.
