The main backlash isn't racially motivated. Black people are pissed off with Kanye just because what he did was foul! It has nothing to do with his skin color or Taylor's. It's simply because he acted like a disrespectful brat to someone, regardless of race, didn't deserve it.

Are there going to be racists who are using this to justify their racism? Yes! Racism does exist in this country. But to say that THAT'S what's causing the backlash is ignorant.

As for Beyonce bashing Kanye, I kinda think she made her point when she gave Taylor her moment. Everybody knew where she stood and what she thought about it by that gesture. There's really no need to expound on it.
