Oh, indeed I will. I have no desire to 'stick with' Mr. West. At least Il Divo hasn't stormed the stage to steal the spotlight from Celtic Woman and then rag on about it for a whole year.

Yep.

He's definitely a talented producer, there's some killer stuff on College Dropout in particular. I welcome nutso popstars; much better to see someone with personality and passion (and talent!) then another dull, safe perfomer off the production line.

My problem is that he doesn't know how to conduct himself like a professional...like an adult. He's like a 10 year old kid who needs a time out...who feels he has to throw a temper tantrum every time he does not get his way. Well, welcome to life.

The thing is...my generation, and I'm sure the one below me, seems to be ok with this kind of behavior. As if his unbelievable creativity and his achievements somehow give him carte blanche to do as he pleases.

And yes, I'll say it. I AM a Kanye fan. He is no doubt one of the bravest, most creative producers and writers the business has seen in a long while. Yes, I like the man's art. But you can love the art, but call out the artist.

But the way in which he conducts himself as a grown ass man and as a professional makes me lose some respect for him. If he feels he was done wrong, he needs to learn how to express that in a mature way...as a professional and a public figure. Hell, with his talent, channel it into your work...not your twitter. Honestly, I do think the death of his mother has had a major affect on him, in more ways than one. But no matter how much of a genius he is, if he continues on like a 10 year old throwing a tantrum...eventually there is going to be no one to blame but himself when the shit really hits the fan.



And as much as I like Bey...NO, "Single Ladies" was NOT the greatest video of the year. Nor was it the most original.

But on a lighter note, the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine gave his recent album 5 stars out of a possible 5, establishing it as an instant classic. They rarely give anyone 5 stars, so I'ma go out on a limb and say it's probably a pretty good record.
But I hate Hip Hop so fucking much I doubt I'll ever hear any of it...on purpose!:cool:

But I'm not prejudice in the least...I hate Taylor Swift's music too hehehe it's a bit cheesy if I were pressed for a reason.

Still, Kanye needs to stick his holier than thou attitude up his ass and bounce on it.

I love Kanye West! Even if you don't agree with his ideas you have to admit that he's at least always entertaining. At the end of the day, isn't that his job? All celebrities want attention and people continuing to talk about him (while admitting to not liking him) only help feed his ego (and bank account).

My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy is one of the best releases of the year.:D

Add to those fact that he's projected to sell over 500,000 in the first week of his new cd and that makes a "15 minute" comment sound even more ridiculous.
