she's doing a great job on The View right now....but Barbara would NEVER choose her as a replacement....she always talks about how Barbara has banned her from the show...and you can always see awkwardness between them when she's on the show.

Haha...I voted for K-Fed...but I'm way in the minority. She'd have a field day with jokes about him...but he's more like on the F List ;) ...not nearly worthy of her...and a few steps in the wrong direction. Larry would have been my second choice. I wonder if there is any point to it other than being a joke.

I saw her on The View...she seemed to get along ok with Babs....but I seriously doubt she'd ever be asked to co-host full time...nor would she accept.

I hadn't heard that her father passed away, prior to today...sad...he and her mom were a hysterical part of the show. Apparently he passed away in February. He was breifly in the sneak peak premiere episode (click > New Episode Now)...but she kept saying he wasn't feeling good. I wonder if it occurred during her taping season.

I did watch the premiere episode on Bravo...rather uneventful in my opinion...but she's got a few new [STRIKE]characters[/STRIKE] employees she introduced. I didn't laugh out until part 4 of the vids...but that's ok...she's a goddess and I love her....can't wait for more. :D

lol this show is awesome. I caught it by accident last week and they were doing a marathon, so i was able to watch every episode from the last season and loved it.

I may tune in to the new season.

I always heard about it but never watched it until last week.

Hey, Sweetie !

We saw her here in Sarasota about.....oh, I dunno, about 18 months ago...

She was 'our Kathy' to be sure, but she seemed kinda distant...I think this was prolly because she was going thru her divorce with her hubby at the time...

We had maybe 10th row seats or so....and I shouted 'We LUV' you Kathy !'
(like the silly drunken gay boy I was :rolleyes: ) ....and a lot of other folks did too... But, she just stuck to her 'set' and didn't stick around after the show to talk or sign autographs or anything.....:( Understandable in hindsight.

Still, if and when she comes back to our fair city, we'll be the first in line for tickets.....

(*adore* her, I do.....;) )

Oh....and as mentioned above, I think the new 'D-List' show starts the first week of June.....

I don't think Kathy's "wet dream" comment went over to well with the babs.
It's the sort of thing that Kathy does so well but would keep her from joining the View. Walters is to up tight, and I can't see her giving Kathy the job.
Too bad really, cause if Kathy would be allowed to cut loose, she would be awesome on the show.
Anyways I would much prefer Kathy doing a live entertainment talk show on cable. No restraints, no rules, just Kathy raw and live
 
I watched the preview episode -- so funny! But I question her choice in friends (Rosie, Whoopi, Joan Rivers). Such shrill harpies. I think she should stick with her gays.
