Turns out, I was having muscle spasms in my chest. I got a bit scared when the pain started radiating down my arm and my hand went tingly/numb.

Now I just have to get all these electrode stickers off my chest without ripping all the hair out! #-o

Glad to hear everything turned out fine ... better to have been safe than sorry ... having been in this situation and ending up having a quadruple bypass I know the terror when you get chest pains.

Now for a special hint on how to get the chest stickers off with ripping the hair out ... I found the best way is to actually have a shower and remove them under the shower ... it soften things up.
 
This is the first I heard about this, too. The_Pianist said so much, and I agree SO 100%, that there's nothing I can add to it.

I'm so happy that you're OK after this episode, but I was rather scared when I first started reading the thread!
