He's a conundrum for me. While I agreed with his anti-Bush diatribe last year, I couldn't get passed the fact that this guy's basically a football commentator.
He may be a football commentator at heart, as he's been matched up again with Dan Patrick on the Sunday pre-game show before the Sunday Night Football game on NBC. But I enjoy watching him on his nightly show on MSNBC's "Countdown" with Keith Olberman. His daily insight into the blunders of the Bush administration and on the election this year, I find interesting. Plus at the end of each show when he signs off with the "Goodnight and Good Luck", he also reminds his viewers with the following statement, "Today marks the 2,004th. day(fill in the day, each night) since the "Declaration of Mission Accomplished in Iraq", an obvious dig at Bush when he made that foolish statement on that aircraft carrier back in 2003. We've lost over 4,000 militery personal and countless have been injured in this senseless war, where for the first time in history we invaded a country who did not provoke an attack on us. His show serves as a reminder why we need a change in this country, and election day is the time to make our voices heard. Regardless of who you vote for, just make sure YOU vote on Nov. 4th. It's what our men and women have been dying for in Iraq and Afganistan, that is democracy. He's a conundrum for me. While I agreed with his anti-Bush diatribe last year, I couldn't get passed the fact that this guy's basically a football commentator.
