Kelly Rippa needs to Get Over It!

i watched that show and i was wondering if someone was going comment about it. that clip does not show everyting that went on that day. if you saw the show you would have seen clay being a dick. i have never seen somone with such a big ego. yeah, kelly has an ego, but i think she uses it the right way(makes fun of her self). he wanted all the attention on him and he was just rude. everything had to be about him. i don't know if it was right for kelly to say all that shit about him, but someone had to. i think he sucked on the show and i was i felt sorry for kelly. he clearly wanted all of the attention. and that is what happens when you have two people thriving for the same thing. i am not surprised.

Actually, I think people should understand that Clay is not as experienced an interviewer as Kelly is. I watched the segment and feel Clay was actually quite entertaining in attempting to put some humor in the situation; too bad his impromptu physical stunt backfired, because it was the perfect humorous gesture given the fact that Kelly obviously wanted to control the interview. As far as that is concerned, I do not see it so much as a display of her self-absorbed nature but more as a professional attempt to ensure the interview proceeded swiftly, being aware that Clay is not an experienced show host but a singer. If she feels so strongly about being touched that way, she should have that written in as a clause in her contract and have it distributed to guests before they appear in the show. Her rant with Regis afterwards was too much, though.

Part One

Part Two = Clay gets a little catty? You be the judge. Notice how he's scared of pussy -- literally.

Clay Aitken isn't famous here. He is fucking ugly.

Well, don't say that to the overweight middle aged American women posing as his rabid fanbase -- they will hunt you down and kill you in the street like a dog!

um.....

for 1. im on kelly's side.

you dont do that.

thats wrong... wether it was channing tatum or somebody else, you dont put your dirty fucking hands on my mouth.

2. kelly rippa does NOT go in the MALE gossip forum.

kthxbye.

i am sorry but i am on kelly's side on this one. i mean she didn't make it into such a big deal, but when rosie overreacted on the veiw it became huge. i know clay isn't experience at hosting, but he didn't need to act like a dick.

F**k Kelly, she should get over herself. I didn't see the whole segment, and I just saw this little rant recently, but I think she is way overreacting over what happened. I didn't even see a reason why he put his hand over her mouth, I don't think it was a disrespectful thing, maybe I missed it idk, but I think she's blowing it out of proportion. If she got over it, why would she bring the subject up on a Monday show when it happened on Friday.. I used to like her, not anymore, she's a spoiled twat...

Everyone should also consider that there is another dimension to this. If that's the way he treated her ON camera chances are he was just as disrespectful if not more so off camera.

Wow! If you didn't watch the whole segment then you shouldn't be making any comments. If you had watched the segment then you would know that Clay was extremely rude the entire show and deserves anything he gets. You don't come on someone elses show as a guest and then disrespect them.

kelly even said in her defence, when she called in on the view,
"He's shaking hands with everybody in the audience. I mean, it's cold and flu season. That's what I meant," she said. "And to imply that it's anything homophobic is outrageous." some people on here are being sooooo harsh.

Kelly has done the same thing (put her hand over Regis' mouth to shut him up) many times.

When I first saw Kelly's self righteous rant (on The View and later with Regis) I thought something was up with it. Then on Perez Hilton there is a pic of her doing it to Regis. And that brought it back. I've seen the show a few times and she has done it herself.

So if it is sooo disrespectful she needs to explain how the double standard applies to her.

And as far as being homophobic, I can see Rosie's point. The tone that Kelly used was very icky and over the top.

So I guess she was also disrespectful to Clay off camera as she was to him on camera? She wouldnt let the guy speak or ask a question until he finally shut her up.

Uh it's obviously different when Kelly and Regis joke around because they actually know eachother and are close. Kelly doesn't know Clay and he came on her show and made her look stupid by making fun of her and then putting his hand over her mouth. What Kelly said after Clay put his hand over her mouth was kind of in a joking way but it pretty much meant don't touch me. It didn't have anything to do with his sexuality. Why is this hard to understand?

Secondly, Rosie is a moron who views everything through her sexuality. Rosie is just looking for a fight all the time. I mean how the hell is Kelly homophobic? I've heard her make positive remarks about gay people before. She's also had Carson from Queer Eye co-host with her before.

It's called "Live with Regis and KELLY"

Clay was just a seat filler while Regis was getting his new dentures fitted.

He was a GUEST (operative word) co-host. Why don't people get that?
